Meet Our Team

Veterinarian/Owner

Kerbey Johansen, DVM

Dr. Kerbey Johansen has always been interested in healing, and she pursued a career in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University at College Station. The journey began with Vet Camp as a high school student, then graduating summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in Biomedical Science in 2003, and on to graduating cum laude with her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M in 2007.

Since that time, she has practiced in Temple, Amarillo, Plainview, and Lubbock before coming to San Angelo. She has also done relief work in Christoval and Midland. After that first year in practice, she has worked exclusively with dogs and cats. Her passions are geriatric care, cardiac care, and lifelong wellness through preventative medicine and high-quality nutrition.

Lead Receptionist

Siarah

Siarah started in the veterinary field as a kennel technician, in the Houston area. After being in the kennel for 3 years, she moved to the front desk. She has now been a veterinary receptionist for 5 years. She has experience in emergency, specialty, and exotics. She was a photojournalist in the Air National Guard, and her spouse is active duty Air Force, stationed here at Goodfellow since 2020. They have 4 dogs. Rocket, Emmylou, Mowgli, who are all dachshunds, and Waverly, who is a heeler border collie mix. Siarah looks forward to meeting all your pets and helping you provide them with the best possible care.

Lead Technician

Patricia

Patricia started working with animals in 2014 after moving to San Antonio from her hometown of Uvalde, Texas. After working at a feline-only practice for 4 years, she decided to expand her knowledge further. Patricia has had the pleasure of handling dogs, birds, horses, cattle, exotics, and wildlife.

After a few years in the business, she has also acquired a few pets of her own. Her family consists of a Great Pyrenees named Adonis, a Doberman named Anubis, two Chihuahuas named SpongeBob and Titan, a cat named Napoleon, and her husband Eric! Together, they enjoy short walks to the fridge, one-sided conversations with the animals, and snacks!

They moved from Midland to San Angelo in 2020 to join the fabulous team at Main Street Animal Clinic as Head Surgery Tech and aspiring new Kennel Tech. Together, they make a great team and are very excited to work with you and your family!

Vet Assistant

Eric

Eric is new to veterinary medicine, but he has always wanted to work with animals. He hopes to become a game warden one day. As a child, he worked on a ranch and has always had a four-legged companion by his side—be it a dog, cat, horse, or the occasional pig.

After moving to San Angelo from Midland with his wife Patricia and their plethora of pets, he believes every animal should receive the same amount of care and compassion when they are at home and at the vet. In his spare time, he enjoys training their four dogs: Adonis, Titan, Anubis, and SpongeBob to annoy their cat, Napoleon!

Receptionist

River

River was born and raised in Southern California and moved to San Angelo in 2020. They are new to the veterinary field, but have been around animals their whole life. Growing up, River's family had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, turtles, frogs, birds and even snakes. Their parents bred Australian shepherds back in California, where they were able to assist during the delivery and raise the puppies. River always tries to help where they can. In their free time, River likes to hang out with their husband, Isaiah, and their fur baby Penelope, a fluffy white cat. River is excited to meet and work with your fur babies!

She recently graduated this year from Angelo State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Pre-Vet. She has joined the Main Street Animal Clinic team without any prior experience with small animals, as she has worked with large animals at Angelo State. Andrea is enthusiastic about having the opportunity to gain experience with small animal medicine. She hopes to continue on and plans to go to Vet school in the future.

Vet Technician

Sarah

Sarah moved from the Dallas area in 2013 to attend college at HSU, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology and Environmental Science. She spent a year in college working for a cutting horse trainer, but has been working in the veterinary field since 2017 and earned her CVA. She has always had a great love for animals, both wildlife and companions. Outside of working at the clinic, most of her days are spent either working on the family cattle ranch in Ballinger, caring for their dog and cat (Caddy and Elliot), painting, drawing, hunting, or anything to do with being outdoors.

Our Humble Beginnings

Doctor Johansen purchased this clinic in December of 2020 and is excited to help your fur babies gracefully grow and age so you can enjoy a long and loving relationship!
